Course benefits:
All skills inevitably fade over time and need to be practiced and refreshed in order to stay up to date administering first aid assistance. Keeping first aid skills up to date will improve individuals confidence in administering first aid as well as ensuring they are aware of the latest procedure standards.
What is the course about:
This is a 2 day course designed for those who already have their first aid qualification, but it is due to expire. Once the qualification has expired the individual is no longer considered competent as a first aider. It is therefore essential for those who wish to continue being qualified to provide first aid in the case of an incident or emergency.
The course is assessed through on-going participation in group and individual activity throughout the programme. Additionally, there is a practical assessment at the end of the programme.
Individuals are able to partake in the course three months prior to their First Aid qualification expiring and 28 days after it has expired.
